Christian Thomas

Christian has joined the Crimson staff on his second stop in the collegiate coaching ranks. A Massachusetts native, Thomas will take over the director of lacrosse operations role for Harvard.

Most recently, Thomas served on the staff at his alma mater as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2023 season, helping Merrimack to a seven-win season, the highest total for the program since making the jump to Division I in 2020.

A three-time team captain at Merrimack, Thomas starred as a student-athlete for the Warriors. One of the most prolific goal scorers in Merrimack lacrosse history, Thomas finished his five-year career at no. 4 on the all-time scoring list at the school with 264 points. Thomas led a dominant attack unit that helped the Warriors win back-to-back Division II National Titles in 2018 and 2019. In the 2018 title game, Thomas collected 10 points to earn the National Championship Game MVP award.

A 2019 DII All-American, Thomas was twice named to NEILA All-New England Teams and was named to the NE10 All-Conference Third Team in 2019 and the NE10 All-Rookie Team in 2018.
